Michael Gallegos is Division Director for the Salt Lake County Division of Housing and Community Development. He has had a full career with Salt Lake County and a short time with the State of Utah. Mr. Gallegos has been responsible for the planning and administration of various community and economic development programs and services from employment and training, community revitalization including housing and economic development. These programs are primarily provided by federal grant opportunities and the success of obtaining these resources. Currently, the pandemic is occupying a substantial amount of time in planning and responding to the needs of the broader community.
