MARION WILEY

Marion started his career in banking, where he worked in many positions including finance and community development. In the 1980s, he started a private development company, which still retains many holdings. Those experiences were stepping stones to his service at Utah Non-Profit Housing Corporation. Since 1995, Marion has served as the Executive Director of Utah Non-Profit Housing Corporation. He has led the growth of the organization to become the largest and most prolific non-profit developer of affordable multi-family housing in Utah.

Marion’s desire to assure that affordable housing stock was not lost through expiring uses, drove the formation of the Western Region Non-Profit Housing Corporation. Today, he and a core of housing professionals champion preservation efforts both in and outside of Utah. In just several short years, they have preserved and rehabilitated 1,389 units of housing across seven states.
